On March 04, in the assembly hall of National Transport University, a traffic awareness event for first year students of the departments of Management, Logistics and Tourism and Economics and Law took place. Head of Public Relations of the Kyiv Patrol Police Department Serhii Bezpalchuk was invited to the meeting.

The police representative said that in order to preserve the life and health of Ukrainian citizens, as well as to create a safer street traffic, it is important for all road users to adhere to traffic rules. In the form of a conversation with students, comprehensive information was provided on traffic rules, duties and rights of pedestrians and drivers as well as advice on safe movement of pedestrians and cyclists.

Serhii Bezpalchuk spoke about the tragic consequences of neglecting traffic rules. One of the main reasons for the high accident rate in Ukraine is the low discipline of road users, especially pedestrians, who carelessly follow the elementary traffic rules .

Everyone should think about the value of their own lives and the lives of their relatives, loved ones, friends and other road users. Remember that your life is in your hands.
