The purpose of the workshop was to discuss the implementation of the first work package “Analysis of Management of Vocational Teacher Education”, as well as issues related to ensuring the quality and sustainability of the results of the project implementation, developing a communication and dissemination plan.

The team of National Transport University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Academic Work, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Gryshchuk O.K., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law, Doctor of Economics, Dr. Bondar N.M., Assistant of the Department of Technical Operation of Automobiles and Car Service, Candidate of Technical Sciences Savostin -Kosiak D.O.

During the discussion, the participants were able to get acquainted with the results of Erasmus + project “Improvements in Practically Oriented Training of Vocational Education and Training Teachers (ITE-VET)” (2016 – 2018).

The program of the workshop included presentations on the management of teacher training for vocational education in European countries. Therefore, Ukrainian partners were able to study different approaches to management and evaluate their implementation options in Ukraine during the implementation of the project “New Mechanisms of Partnership-Based Governance and Standardization of Vocational Teacher Education in Ukraine (PAGOSTE)”.

As part of the workshop, participants also visited the Vocational Training Center (Berufsschulzentrum) in Radofzel, which is important in the context of the project’s goals, as PAGOSTE’s goal is to establish links between different stakeholders involved in the training of VET teachers, in particular institutions and universities, and therefore improve the management mechanisms of teacher training for vocational education in Ukraine
