The scientists of Ukraine and Germany have started to carry out investigations which will facilitate the necessary changes in management system of scientific and innovation activity in Ukraine. On July 6, 2017 it was the key point of discussion during the first Ukrainian-German workshop on structural projects, held by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
As explained by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Maksym Strikha, last year the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research organized a regular competition of joint scientific projects and for the first time 6 structural projects were selected. These projects aim at showing us which changes in management system of scientific and innovation activity in Ukraine are required and how they can be implemented with due consideration given to German experience.
“Together with Germany we will for the first time carry out scientific research on structural projects. I am quite convinced that these projects will help bring substantial changes to scientific landscape of Ukraine. The estimated duration of projects is 2 years – 2017-2018, and today the scientists of both countries have met together to synchronize watches : to present plans of their work, main objectives and expected results,”- reported Maksym Strikha.
