Meeting with the first-year academic groups monitors

On October 18, 2018, in the Conference room representatives of the Administration, heads of student organizations and structural subdivisions of the University raised the awareness of the first-year academic group monitors of a wide range of opportunities, which students who are studying at National Transport University have. It is worth remarking that approximately a thousand of freshmen who formed 40 academic groups took an oath in NTU.

‘In NTU you will have an opportunity to reveal your scientific and creative potential. Remember, that success and comfort of your way to education and science will depend on you. So be active, get involved in University life and study hard., – emphasized the Vice-Rector for Academic work Oleksandr Kazymyrovych Hryshchuk, referring to the freshmen.

Oleksandr Kazymyrovych also familiarized the participants with the conditions for receiving social and academic scholarships.

Vice-Rector for Social and Economic Development Oleksandr Ivanovych Bulakh and Director of the campus Svetlana Viktoryvna Cherniy informed the students about the peculiarities of living conditions in the hostels and the main rules of the campus.

The Chairman of the Student Self-Government Council Andriy Basko told the academic groups monitors about additional opportunities for the development and familiarized students with the prospects for the young people studying at University, the principles and values of the academic environment.

Oleksiy Ivanovych Kushch, the Chairman of the Primary trade union organization of students, called for active participation in the public life of NTU.

The Director of the Center for International Education Oleksandr Dudnyk emphasized that the University has a large number of students from different countries of the world, so we have to interact and help them  adapt and develop in our environment.
