People’s Republic of China Delegation at National Transport University : Visit on Cooperation in Higher Education

The representatives of the PRC delegation from Ningxia Vocational Technical College of Industry and Commerce headed by Vice President Ning Xiaojuan visited National Transport University. The delegation was welcomed by Rector of NTU, M. F. Dmytrychenko; Vice-Rector for Academic Work, O. K. Hryshchuk; Dean of the Faculty of Transport Construction, O. S. Slavinska; Vice-Rector Assistant O. P. Tokin and Deputy Dean A. V. Bubela.

The delegation had a chance to see the University research laboratories and centres of the Department of Transport Construction and Property Management; the Department of Bridges, Tunnels and Hydraulic Engineering Structures; the Department of Road Building Machines (NTU centre – Zeppelin-Caterpillar); the Department of Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Service (motor vehicle centers of Scania, Eurocar, Energotest , Sicam and MOTUL Deutschland GmbH).

A special attention was paid to the research laboratories of the road building machines and motor vehicle maintenance and service.

At the meeting Rector M.F. Dmytrychenko and Vice President Ning Xiaojuan pointed out the importance of developing relations and cooperation between higher educational institutions of Ukraine and the PRC, presented National Transport University and Ningxia Vocational Technical College of Industry and Commerce, their structure, education and research areas. A memorandum on cooperation between National Transport University and Ningxia Vocational Technical College of Industry and Commerce was signed during this meeting.
