International Seminar on the Presentation and Peer Review of the ISDEGO Micro-Credentials Concept

On 28 October 2026, NTU representatives participated in the international online seminar “Presentation and Peer Review of the ISDEGO Micro-Credentials Concept”, organised within the European Union’s Erasmus+ CBHE project ISDEGO — “Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in Transport and Mobility Education” (Grant Agreement No. 101179915).

The event brought together more than 40 representatives of universities and expert institutions from Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, Poland, Germany, and Italy. The seminar aimed to present the ISDEGO Micro-Credentials Concept, assess the progress of project activities, and discuss prospects for implementing pilot micro-credentials at partner higher education institutions.

During the seminar, participants were introduced to the structure and key components of the concept, the methodological framework for developing micro-credentials, and European experience and emerging trends in micro-credentials for higher education.

Particular attention was paid to the role of micro-credentials in developing national qualifications systems. Representatives of the National Qualifications Agency of Ukraine emphasised their importance for recognising competencies and adapting the educational process to current labour market requirements.

The participants analysed the regulatory frameworks for micro-credentials in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova and discussed quality assurance, the recognition of learning outcomes, the use of ECTS credits, and digital certification. European experts and representatives of partner universities also provided feedback and recommendations for improving the concept and preparing for the implementation of pilot courses.

The exchange of views helped identify the main institutional and regulatory challenges and outline directions for developing and applying micro-credentials in transport and logistics education.

The seminar strengthened international cooperation among the project partners and contributed to a shared vision for developing and implementing micro-credentials aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and lifelong learning needs.
