National Transport University Hosted an International Student Tele-Bridge as Part of the Erasmus+ ISDEGO Project

On October 15, 2026, as part of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Intelligent Transport Systems: Ecology, Safety, Quality, Comfort” (ITS ESQC 2026) organized by National Transport University, the Second International Student Tele-Bridge was held within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE ISDEGO project – “Implementation of Sustainable Urban Development Goals in Bachelor’s Transport Education”.

The event brought together students, educators, researchers, and representatives of partner universities from Poland, Germany, Italy, Romania, Ukraine, and Moldova.

The aim of the international tele-bridge was to expand academic cooperation among partner universities, exchange experience in sustainable transport system development, and introduce students to modern European approaches to urban mobility organization and the implementation of innovative transport technologies.

Participants had the opportunity to join the international scientific community, explore current research, and discuss prospects for the development of intelligent transport systems, digitalization of the transport sector, and sustainable urban mobility.

Special attention during the tele-bridge was paid to the results of the ISDEGO project implementation, including:

  • modernization of bachelor’s degree programs in transport technologies;
  • establishment and development of Sustainable Urban Transport Laboratories (SUTLab);
  • development of new academic courses and teaching materials;
  • organization of international faculty internships and student academic mobility;
  • expansion of cooperation between European universities and higher education institutions in Ukraine and Moldova;
  • integration of Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11) “Sustainable Cities and Communities” principles into the training of future transport professionals.

The tele-bridge was a continuation of the international educational initiative launched during the “Green Logistics for Greener Cities” conference, which took place in April 2026 in Szczecin, Poland.

The Second Student Tele-Bridge was organized under Work Package WP7 “Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation”, led by National Transport University.

The event marked an important milestone in fulfilling Task T7.3 “Conferences, exhibitions and student events,” which foresees holding two international student tele-bridges with the participation of universities from European Union countries, Ukraine, and Moldova.

Holding the international tele-bridge reaffirmed the key role of National Transport University in advancing international academic cooperation, disseminating the results of European educational projects, and implementing modern approaches to training transport sector professionals.

National Transport University expresses its sincere gratitude to the ISDEGO project coordinator, European partners, representatives of universities in Ukraine and Moldova, faculty members, and students for their active participation, insightful presentations, and contribution to the development of international educational cooperation.

Through joint efforts, the ISDEGO partners continue to shape a modern European educational space aimed at training a new generation of professionals in sustainable, safe, and intelligent transport.
