Participation of the National Transport University in the 7th International Conference “Green Cities – Green Logistics for Greener Cities”

The 7th International Conference “Green Cities – Green Logistics for Greener Cities” was held in Szczecin (Poland) at Technopark Pomerania on April 15–17, 2026. The event was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Transport Engineering of the Maritime University of Szczecin in cooperation with the Marshal’s Office, Technopark Pomerania, and the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority.

The conference was organized by Professor Stanisław Iwan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Transport Engineering at the Maritime University of Szczecin (Poland).

His cooperation with the National Transport University is not limited to academic collaboration with its faculty members. He is also the coordinator of the Erasmus+ project ISDEGO implemented at NTU, as well as a member of the Program Committee of the international conference ITS ESQC 2026, organized by NTU.

The conference served as an effective international platform for the exchange of knowledge and practical experience in the field of urban logistics solutions within the framework of sustainable development. Particular attention was paid to environmental aspects, especially reducing the negative impact of urban freight transport on the environment and improving the efficiency of transport systems.

Leading researchers, experts, and practitioners in urban logistics from various countries participated in the event, ensuring a high level of scientific discussion and exchange of innovative approaches. The conference was held in a hybrid format, enabling participation both offline and online.

In total, approximately 100 representatives of the academic and professional community from different countries—including Australia, Brazil, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Ukraine, Italy, and the United States—took part in the conference.
